如以賽亞書42:10~12 所述:
Isa42:10 航海的和海中所有的，海島和其上的居民，都當向耶和華唱新歌，從地極讚美他。
Isa42:11 曠野和其中的城邑，並基達人居住的村莊都當揚聲；西拉的居民當歡呼，在山頂上吶喊。
Isa42:12 他們當將榮耀歸給耶和華，在海島中傳揚他的頌讚。

to the LORD a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down
to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands, and all who live in them.
Isa42:11 Let
the desert and its towns raise their voices; let the settlements where Kedar
lives rejoice. Let the people of Sela sing for joy; let them shout from the
mountaintops.
Isa42:12 Let
them give glory to the LORD and proclaim his praise in the islands.
